During this Decade, many new fashion styles arose. Many people started dressing up in denims, overalls, their old dads clothes. One of them were the Preppy Fashion which was known to be the decades easiest trend. They were simple baggy pants and the main store to shop was from Gap. Then there was the Grunge fashion where people tough the baggier your clothes, the better. The Hip Hop fashion took several different forms where they wore Bright colorful track jackets, big jewelry, throwback jerseys, and baseball caps.
Origin: These Grunge-inspired looks was influenced from Hollywood and the musical industries. The Hip Hop fashion started off by Will smith and other rappers like Dr.Dre and Snoop Dog.
Purpose: The purpose for these different styles were to show a trend in the decade. It shows how peoples fashion sense and interests are changing.
Value:This piece was used by many people around the world. Many people were influenced by the young rappers and actresses.
Limitation: Though this piece was used by many people, it doesn't show how the economy was during thee 90's and weather people liked the idea or if their were any other fashion styles people followed.
